So, How do you like the new submissions by our 2 new staff members? 
If someone didnt notice yet, =IBinsanity and *dafni are our new staff handleing submissions.
But the point of this journal:
We would like to improove our club, make it better, also, as members, you have the power to make it happen, that's what community is for, isnt it? So, if there is anything you would like to change in our way of picking deviations, feel free to comment here. If we get some worthy suggestions we'll set up a poll. Try it, maybe you have some ideas our members will like! make it happen!

The goal of this community is to bring together the fine-art-photographers of Deviant Art. There are loads around and we'd like to build a gallery of their best work.
To join this community, simply add us to your watch-list and we will watch you back. We ask you to place a link from your journal to this community in return.
IMPORTANT: We want EVERYONE to join who's interested in fine art photography! It's what our new community needs most: members and watchrs! Being a member doesn't automatically mean you have to submit pictures, if you feel your art isn't good enough yet. You'll definitely learn from the experienced members. A good audience is important!
To submit your piece of art send us a note with the THUMB of your art and keywords (not necessary). We're not accepting links anymore, as we get too many notes and don't have the time to full view work without previews. Notes without thumbs will from now on be ignored because of lack of time. Despite some rumours you do not have to be subscribed to send thumbs in notes!
We ask you to only send in high-quality pictures as the staff will be selective; please don't be mad at us if we decide not to submit one of your pictures to our gallery.
You can submit 3 pictures a week - but we will only upload a maximum of 3-5 pictures a day, not to flood your inboxes.
We'll also have a regular look at member's galleries to search for good pieces for our gallery. We will not submit any pieces without the artist's permission, of course!

We're open for Staff Applications now. We need one or two at the moment. We also need someone that would like to do weekly interviews with our members.
If You are willing, here are the guidelines:
The Staff.
-Send us a note titled "STAFF" with 5 thumbs of deviations (your choise) that you would submit in our gallery.
-Describe your photography taste and interests.
The Reporters.
-Send us a note titled "REPORTER" with 5 questions that you would ask our members (make them oryginal).

We're deffinetly not dead 
although a little inactive recently, and I, as an admin, am very sory for that. Since Ann is in France now, and has no net connection, and I was barely at home all summer, we got a little lazy on submissions and news here. BUT I'm back for good now, and Ann will hopefully be back soon, so we're officialy back online and posting
At the moment we have over 40 new members waiting to be added, and lot's of new submissions, so i guess i wont keep you bored for a while from now on
Following the rules, there will be a max of 5 photos per day. Nothing changes here. As fast as I will make things right here again, some new features will appear. but
for now, cuz it's a secret.
I really hope Fineart will continue to be as popular as it used to be. We do really appriciate Your support for the Club. I would never had imagined it would grow so big.

To join this community, simply add us to your watch-list and we will watch you back. We ask you to place a link from your journal to this community in return.
IMPORTANT: We want EVERYONE to join who's interested in fine art photography! It's what our new community needs most: members and watchrs! Being a member doesn't automatically mean you have to submit pictures, if you feel your art isn't good enough yet. You'll definitely learn from the experienced members. A good audience is important!
To submit your piece of art send us a note with the THUMB of your art and keywords (not necessary). We're not accepting links anymore, as we get too many notes and don't have the time to full view work without previews. Notes without thumbs will from now on be ignored because of lack of time. Despite some rumours you do not have to be subscribed to send thumbs in notes!
We ask you to only send in high-quality pictures as the staff will be selective; please don't be mad at us if we decide not to submit one of your pictures to our gallery.
You can submit 3 pictures a week - but we will only upload a maximum of 3-5 pictures a day, not to flood your inboxes.
We'll also have a regular look at member's galleries to search for good pieces for our gallery. We will not submit any pieces without the artist's permission, of course!
